The new GW HIllel building opened in 2021 is ready to welcome your small or medium-sized gathering.
We have hosted social events ranging from a rooftop reception to a bat mitzvah party. In 2023, we will begin offering on-site kosher food service to the greater Washington, D.C. community.
Our building at 2300 H St., N.W., in the heart of GW’s campus, is just two blocks from the Foggy Bottom Metro station on the blue, orange, and silver lines. We are also a short walk from the White House, the State Department and other hubs of government, university and private sector activity.

SMALL DINING ROOM
Our small dining room space can be utilized for private meetings, intimate family gatherings, or breakout groups connected to larger meetings. The room features double doors that separate it from our adjoining kosher cafe.

FAMILY HALL
Our largest space is a lovely multipurpose room on the first floor with a street-level view of 23rd and H Streets, N.W., The room opens on to our outdoor courtyard, a charming setting for sunny days and starlit evenings. The room may be divided in half to allow smaller groups to feel at home.
ROOFTOP MEETING ROOM
Our rooftop level meeting room is perfect for a gathering in a smaller setting. A wall-mounted video screen and easily rearranged furnishings make this a great spot for work meetings. Glass doors along one entire wall bring in plenty of daylight and a view of Foggy Bottom’s urban landscape viewed from our fifth-floor terrace.
ROOFTOP TERRACE
Our rooftop terrace is a stunning oasis in an urban environment. Let all your guests enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of this outdoor space with its landscaped perimeter and room for mingling, lounging, and conversation. We rent the indoor and outdoor segments of our fifth floor space as one unit, offering a gracious gathering place, whether you wish to bask in the fresh air or escape the weather in any season of the year.
