Joining the GW Jewish Parents Association (GWJPA) is a great way to ensure that your GW student gets connected to Jewish life on campus. When you join the GWJPA, your student will receive a free GW Hebrew t-shirt, a voucher for a free shabbat meal, and regular e-mails about Hillel events. BUT WAIT! That’s not all! Your student will receive delicious chicken soup, delivered to his or her door, when he or she isn’t feeling great (limited to twice per year).
Become a member of the GW Jewish Parents Association.
Basic Membership ($250 contribution)
Your son or daughter will receive a free GW Hebrew t-shirt, a voucher for a free Shabbat meal and a call or email from someone of staff with an invitation for coffee or lunch. Membership also entitles your son or daughter to our chicken soup express. If your son or daughter is sick during the year, we will deliver kosher chicken soup to his/her romm.
Renaissance Level ($500 contribution)
Besides all the basic membership advantages, Renaissance Level members receive Chanukah goodie bags and Passover survival kits.
Parent Advisory Council ($1000 contribution)
In addition to all of the advantages of the Basic Membership level and the Renaissance Level, you can play a more active role by in our organization as a member of the Parent Advisory Council . You may be asked to join in a conference call, attend a special meeting with members of the board and provide advice and council on issues relevant to Jewish life on campus.
Circle of Parents ($5000 contribution)
And finally, for $5000 you can be a member of the Circle of Parents. Besides all the above, a $5000 contribution allows you to sponsor a Shabbat as well as major program initiative at Hillel.
