“Let all who are hungry come and eat.”
GW Hillel like ever year will fulfill this injunction, but we will do so with the help of the greater Jewish community of Washington, DC. This year Passover begins on Saturday night April 19th right after Shabbat. With daylight savings time, Passover coming so late in the season, Shabbat ending so late, and because our kitchen is now under the supervision of the Rabbinical Council of Greater Washington, it will be too difficult for us to hold a communal Seder on Saturday night. We have worked out several options for those of you who wish to participate in a Seder on Saturday night. This year we will hold our communal Seder on Sunday Apr. 20th @ 7 PM, the second night of Passover.
PLEASE TAKE NOTE THE DEADLINE FOR SAT. & SUN. SEDER REGISTRATION & MON. MEALS IS FRI. Apr. 11 @ Noon so that special foods for Passover can be ordered and prepared.
