GW Hillel’s Response to the Haiti Earthquake Disaster
*GW Hillel will be hosting a Haiti Relief Lunch on Wednesday, January 20, 2010 from 12:30-1:30pm at GW Hillel. RSVP requested
In response to the recent catastrophic earthquake on January 12 in Haiti, people around the world are mobilizing and finding ways to provide relief efforts. Here at GW Hillel, we have received inquiries about how students and community members can participate in tikkun olam, repairing the world, with regard to the Haiti relief efforts. At this time, we are told the most helpful relief we can provide is in financial contributions. While any giving is much appreciated, the following are several organizations GW Hillel recommends:
