Steve comes to all y’all (he’s from North Carolina, so you better get used to the “y’alls”) via the University of Arizona and UNC (University of National Champions!). After graduating from the University of North Carolina (GO TAR HEELS!!!) in 2005 with a BA in Political Science, Steve decided he wanted one of the coolest jobs ever so he accepted a positions as the new JCSC Fellow at the University of Arizona Hillel in deserts of Tucson. Steve enjoyed his time out West and had the opportunity to work with many amazing people, plan tons of cool events, enjoy palm trees, and wear flip-flops every day. Steve enjoyed working for Hillel and spicing up the university experience for Jewish college students so much that he decided to do it for another year. Luckily, he now gets to bring his passion for enhancing campus Jewish life to GW! When Steve isn’t making the world a better place, you can often find him quenching his addiction for endorphins. He loves to run, hike, rock climb, play sports, and just being outside in general. Steve also loves music, cooking, traveling, following his beloved Tar Heel basketball team, and exploring his new home, “the district.” Keep your eyes open for Steve hanging out around the Hillel building or venturing around campus.
