Built in 1986, GW Hillel’s Gewirz Center is a red-brick building in the center of campus, on the corner of 23rd and H Streets NW. Each of the building’s three floors has its own distinct character.
The upper level holds the chapel as well as a large multi-purpose room used for a wide variety of programming (complete with a big-screen TV). The middle floor holds our administrative offices, student office, library, the famous “pit” and a student computer lab.
Our lower level holds two kosher kitchens and another large multi-purpose room, which serves as a dining room and program center. The building also has a terrace and rooftop.
