About Us

GW Hillel is a vibrant community where students work together to develop dynamic programming and make friends that last a lifetime. Our programs cover topics from Israel to music, politics to social action, sports to leadership…and everything in between.

Hillel at the George Washington University proudly serves more than 2,800 Jewish undergraduates and 1,500 Jewish graduate students of GW. GW Hillel was created in the 1930′s and moved to its current location, the Gewirz Center (23rd & H) in 1986. GW Hillel is one of the most active and rapidly growing Jewish campus communities in North America, offering a wide array of opportunities for Jewish students of all backgrounds and interests to plug in to Jewish life at GW.

If you would like to start a student group or have an idea for a program, let any of our staff or student leadership know and we’ll make it happen together!
