Please join us April 28th through May 1st for Holocaust Remembrance Week. Throughout the week, we will be handing out ribbons to help remember the victims on H Street Plaza from 11a.m. to 1 p.m. We will have a wide range of programs throughout the week:
- Viewing of “The Devil Came on Horseback” (a documentary about the
genocide in Sudan) along with Guest Speaker Mark Hanis, Executive Director
of the Genocide Intervention Network, on Monday 7 P.M. in the Continental
Ballroom.
- Film Screening of “Devil’s Arithmetic” on Tuesday at 6 P.M. at Hillel.
- Religious Remembrance Service at 4 P.M. at Hillel on Wednesday.
- Our week will culminate on Thursday May 1st. Throughout the day, names of
victims will be read in front of Hillel. Then at 7 P.M. at Hillel, the Assistant
Regional Director of the Anti-Defamation League and others will speak on
Remembering. Finally, we urge you to join us for a short candle light vigil to
remember, never forget, and stop genocide at 8 P.M. in University Yard.
