GW Hillel will once again be hosting FREE Arabic Classes. The class, which is taught by adjunct professor Ross Kaplan, will begin Monday, January 28th. The Beginner Class will be at 6 p.m. and the Intermediate Class at 7:30 p.m. Classes will be held Monday and Wednesday evening in the upstairs auditorium of the Hillel Building (23rd and H). No prior Arabic exposure is necessary for the Beginning Arabic course;
however, experience with other languages is advantageous.

Intermediate course students should have at least 1 semester of Modern Standard Arabic.

Beginning Arabic students should bring $95 for books to the first class. Intermediate students should bring $55 for books.
All book purchases are tax free.
Checks preferred (made out to Ross Kaplan); cash accepted.

Ross Kaplan, a Fulbright scholar and foreign affairs officer at the State Department’s Near East Affairs Bureau, holds a Masters from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies. This is the sixth year Mr. Kaplan will teach Arabic at the Hillel.
