The Hebrew Honor Society will be accepting applications for Spring Rush. Members of the Hebrew Honor Society share a common love of the depth, beauty, and history of the Hebrew language, and partake in regular activities dedicated to improving their linguistic abilities. Applications are available at the front desk at Hillel or at the Hebrew Department. For more information contact Harry Baumgarten at harry.baumgarten@gmail.com. The deadline for fall applications is this Friday, November 2nd. Please apply so you can partake in all of our activities.
Kesher Shabbat with Special guest! Rabbi Faith Joy Dantowitz, Director of Admissions at HUC-JIR Greenwich Village campus, will be with us on the November 2nd shabbat. She will be giving a d’var in the Reform service and will be meeting with Reform students for Shabbat dinner from GWU, American, Maryland and Georgetown universities upstairs after dinner.
