In light of the recent anti-Semitic incidents on campus, President Steven Knapp will in a show of solidarity, join the GW Jewish community this Friday, November 2, at Shabbat Dinner. President Knapp will address the unfortunate acts of bigotry that have been perpetuated against members of our community by the placement of swastikas on student doors.

It is incumbent upon the GW Jewish community to come out in large numbers to express our appreciation of President Knapp’s efforts on our behalf, and to demonstrate how important this issue is to our community. This is the first visit of President Knapp to Hillel and we should wholeheartedly welcome him.

The Hebrew Honor Society will be accepting applications for Spring Rush. Members of the Hebrew Honor Society share a common love of the depth, beauty, and history of the Hebrew language, and partake in regular activities dedicated to improving their linguistic abilities. Kesher Shabbat with Special guest! Rabbi Faith Joy Dantowitz, Director of Admissions at HUC-JIR Greenwich Village campus, will be with us on the November 2nd shabbat.
