On Yom HaShoah, Holocaust Remembrance Day, the GW community will participate in events that remember the victims of the Holocaust while encouraging students to reflect on those affected by the current atrocities in Darfur. This is an opportunity to educate ourselves about the dangers of discrimination and hatred in our world. It is our responsibility to heighten awareness about these issues and to make sure all crimes against humanity are never forgotten.
