Congratulations to the incoming officers and board and a special thanks to our outgoing officers for their hard work and dedication over the course of the past year. We look forward to continued participation and leadership in the year to come. There are many positions still available, or if you have additional programming ideas and want to get involved contact jsa@gwu.edu.
On Yom HaShoah, Holocaust Remembrance Day, the GW community will participate in events that remember the victims of the Holocaust while encouraging students to reflect on those affected by the current atrocities in Darfur. This is an opportunity to educate ourselves about the dangers of discrimination and hatred in our world. It is our responsibility to heighten awareness about these issues and to make sure all crimes against humanity are never forgotten.
