apple1.gifGW Hillel and the Jewish Student Association are pleased to offer Traditional Conservative and Reform services on campus for students, alumni, parents and friends. Our services are led by dynamic, trained leaders and all services are egalitarian.

 

HIGH HOLIDAY DATES:

Rosh Hashanah begins on Friday, September 22 and continues through Sunday, September 24. Yom Kippur begins on Sunday, October 1 and continues through Monday, October 2.

SERVICE LOCATIONS & TIMES:

All Traditional Conservative Services will be held in the Grand Ballroom on the third floor of the Marvin Center, 800 21st Street NW (21st & H)

All Reform services will be held in the GW Lisner Auditorium, 730 21st Street NW (21st & H)

Prayer books and kippot will be provided at all services. Talitot (prayer shawls) will not.

 

TICKET RESERVATIONS:

Students

  • Tickets are free for all current students.
  • Non-GW students are welcome to attend services.

  • There is no need to register for student Yom Kippur tickets in advance.

  • You must bring a valid student ID card with you to all services.

Non-Students

  • High Holiday ticket packages for non-students are available for a $125 donation (free for children under age 12). Yom Kippur tickets are available for a $75 donation.

  • Please click here to register for tickets by noon on Friday, September 29.
  • Tickets are no longer being mailed, but can be picked up at GW Hillel or at the door on the night/day of services.
  • For security purposes, please bring a photo ID to all services.

Meals will be held at GW Hillel, 23rd & H.
